Add new selections to the selected field

Hi,

Here is an example.

A field TEXT with values a,b,c,d.

Firstly, I select a and click the check button.

Then I select c&d.

Result i'd like to have is I get selections with a&c&d.

However, the default result is that i only have c&d without a.

Is there some way to meet this requirement?

Add a Filter object to the Dashboard, add the field as TEXT.

Add one more object (bar chart or pivot table) to the dashboard, create some measures on this field - Click on Done.

Now, Select A from the Filter object, Click on (right) symbol - A value got selected.

Again select C,D from the Filter, Click on (right) symbol - C,D value got selected.

Now check the other object(bar/pivot) that, what are the values are got filtered in this from the selections of Filter object.

The result will be A,C,D.

Thanks for your reply Bala. It works in the filter, but I want to make this scene in the pivot table. Any better suggestion?
