Qlik Sense Pivot Table - Header Font behavior

I have to use the native pivot table in qlik sense (June 2020 Patch 7 Windows Enterprise) - and I don't see why the styling option is not changing the font in the pivot column/row headers - it looks very odd since the rest of the table (headers & content) change with Presentation -> Styling. The pivot row & column headers take up too much space. I know how to hide them using css but I need to keep them so users can adjust the order. The font should match the rest of the table shouldn't it? I have the font set to 10 and the pivot col/row headings are not following that selection.

Under Presentation -> Styling I set the font to 10

It changes the table headings and the body content but not the pivot column and row headings. Why?

@ChristofSchwarz

Yes - I was referring to the "L2 Area" and "Business Outcome" in the image. I am hoping someone that is more familiar with CSS than I might be able to come up with the code needed for a workaround? That was why I tagged @ChristofSchwarz - he had posted a method of hiding those headings completely using css - unfortunately in this case I need to keep them visible in the pivot table and just want to change the font size.

In the qlik sense table object the presentation > styling allows the dimension heading font size and color to be changed. I know the pivot table is a different object, but from a user perspective it seems that it should be able to be done in the pivot table if it can be handled in the straight table. Example below shows the qlik sense table headings increasing size from 13 to 20 ... I would love to decrease the pivot column and pivot row headings - if someone can figure out a way using CSS I would be grateful !
