QVD Generation based on Username who is generating it

Hi Team,

My requirement is to generate a QVD with Username appended to it whenever that particular user generates it. For instance if i am generating a QVD , it should be QVD_Vish123 , and if other user generates it should be QVD_Otherusername. Is it possible in Qlik Sense. Please suggest.

Take a look at the OsUser() function.

Thank you, but my use case is different here. Its my mistake that I have to explain a little more. I am using vizlib write back table and writing back to QVD. In this QVD file should generate with my name appended to it. The same way if another user is writing back to QVD it should be with his name. Tried Osuser but didn't work.

The solution osuser() worked for me ..Thanks a lot for your help 🙂
