Hi,

Would like to do a sum based on Date start from fiscal year start month and till date, the Fields are like below.

Date, Total

Looking for something like below.

=Sum({<'>=Date(Yearstart(Max([Date]),0,4),'MMM-YY')<=Date(Max([Date]),'MMM-YY')}>,Total)

What you will need to use is called Set Analysis.

I have attached a workshop I wrote for it that will give you more information than you ever wanted to know so that you understand what Set Analysis is within Qlik.
