Subfield and Index

Hi All,

I have a field (UserId) with values as below.

Domain\abc.def

Domain\edef.ghty

I am using this expression =mid(UserId, index(UserId,'/ ', 1) + 😎

The above expression return values for UserId as below.

abc.def

edef.ghty

Now, is there a way of writing that expression better? And I want the userID field with out the dot at the middle.

Any suggestion will be helpful.
