Hi Everyone. Your insights and ideas, relating to the following scenario, most welcome please.

I've a map. It has a Point Layer and shows Postcode Locations. The dots are coloured according to organisational boundaries i.e. by dimension. The data is Census Date based, and so there is a 'latest date' cohort of records. So far, so normal.

Presently, at start-up, it shows all the dots for all the data since no selection is evident. Without applying a filter, I want the map to start out showing only the postcode markers that relate to this latest cohort of data, without wrecking the colour-coding of the dots. Thus; filter applied - show the dots for that selection, no filter applied - show the 'most recent' dots.

I am struggling to find a way to make this work.

For ref, I'm in the Enterprise February 2021 edition.

Any kind words of wisdom would be much appreciated.

Graham
