Single Dimension from multiple hierarchy fields in straight table

Hi Qlikers,

I have an uncommon requirement where in I need to show values from different fields as single Dimension in straight/pivot table and it's corresponding values as expression.

Now comes the tricky part, those different fields are hierarchy fields .

Example fields.

Nation,

State,

District

Now I want , if one particular district is selected, only the corresponding state should appear along with nation in the table dimensions.

Let's say, I selected District B, and that district belongs to State B, now the table should appear something like this,

Dimension, expression 1, expression 2

Nation, nationsvalues......

StateB, stateB's values...

District B, District B's value

Also, state and district should appear only when the selection is made or only one possible value

Any ideas or suggestions are really highly appreciated.

Not sure but in these situations generic load is one of the possibility, you may need to expore on that -
