Question of Sum(TOTAL Sales) question

A simplified version of my issue is as follows:

I have a table of transactions and each transaction has a date (Invoice Date), Amount and a Group classification, so in summary

Dimensions: Group, Year
Measure: Amount

I want to create a bar chart with YEAR on the X axis and Group and Sales on the Y axis (stacked) as you can see below.

For each year I want to show sales by group as a portion of the TOTAL for each year and not as a percentage of the TOTAL for all years which is what I think I have done below with

sum (Amount )

sum (Total Amount)

Any tips would be appreciated

Excellent and so brilliantly simple. Set Analysis has never been simpler!

If you have a moment can you explain "how" it works?
