How to export data without showing table in Qlik sense

Hi,

I need to develop a object which should export some set of data without showing table values. In this case I choose to use Vizlib text & Object library. But I am not sure how to input a calculated dimension.

My question here is , how to restrict a dimension values while exporting it based on some condition.

For example , i have a set of students details in which i need to show only 'students who are failed'

Calculated dimension - if (Status='Failed', Student Name)

I need to use a calculated dimension to export data since there will not be a selection based on status, only the KPI's will be present in the application.

Please let me know if there is a way to pass calculated dimension to the Vizlib export. Thanks!

Hi ,
you can't use a calculated dimension, but you can add a preceding action before the export
that will make a selection in the Status field.
