I know this is a bit too late given the new versions that came that may support. I tried setting my report the sorting order and bookmarked it with a default state. So when a user creates their sorting and want to get it sorted back to original order, they can click the default bookmark, but it didn't work.

Have you found a solution on the same ?

Hi,

I was wondering if there is an equivalent to the default sort order we were able to set in Document Properties in QlikView.

Default sort order in QlikSense seem to be a bit weird and for example strings are not systematically sorted alphabetically.

Having to set this on each object is not convenient specially for "basic" users.

Hi,
Related to my initial question, QS default sort order is the load order which gives at least the ability to sort data during the reload of the application. Not very convenient but at least we can have a default sort order.
And for your question Raja, if you create the bookmark with the "Save Layout" option activated, the sort order will be kept.

My data model has only 1 Fact table with no Dimensions attached also. technically the field that I am using to sort first is part of the same table.
