Qlik Sense dimension filter to ignore another selection

I have an Qlik Sense app with the year dimension set to "always one selected value" which works as expected for the other sheets in the app. I need to add another sheet that allows any customer to be selected, not just the customers that are active in the selected year. I attached a sample screen shot to help illustrate the problem.

I have a pivot table that displays data for all years for all customers using set analysis. The problem is the user cannot select customer "ABC" since there is no activity in year 2022. The list of customers will be pretty long and the users need to be able to search are select individual customers while ignoring the Year field.

This sample has 3 fields, Customer, Year, and Amount.

Have you tried using Alternate States in your second sheet?
