reload fail every 10minutes

Hi,

I have an issue in reloading my apps since 3pm gmt+1.

Load data in Data load editor fail after 10minutes

reload an app : reload running during 10 minutes then launch an other reload the start date change but i dont have logs of the error.

After 3 reload i have the following error:

failed to complete reload: websocket: close 1006 (abnormal closure): unexpected EOF

Hello Stephilippou, you were able to find something, I'm having the same issue, even when I do the "Load Data" command from inside the Data Load Editor.

@Alejandro_Jimenez I reached out to Qlik Support and apparently my app was reaching 8.4 GB of memory usage during the middle of the reload. We have a 5 GB memory limit on each app. It can be confusing because the Data Load Editor doesn't show an error. The reload simply crashes and restarts if memory usage gets too high during the middle of the reload.

They recommended installed this app so I can monitor the memory usage of apps. https://community.qlik.com/t5/Support-Updates-Blog/The-App-Analyzer-for-Qlik-SaaS-customers-is-available-NOW/ba-p/1734927

However, now I'm having trouble getting this App Analyzer to work so onto the next issue I guess haha.

Thanks Richard! I saw that before while searching for this error message. I want to clarify that the difference between what I was seeing and what Ayaka explains in her post in the thread you've linked is that the 5 GB limit applies before the app even tries to save. If you go above 5 GB in the middle of the reload, the app may crash and then automatically restart the reload process. That's a bit different than the 5 GB limit when trying to save the app because you can do calculations during reload that brings the memory above 5 GBs but then do some table drops to slim it down before the end of the script. However, from my experience, that's risky because of this crashing and reload restarting issue.
