I have a set of data where I have a total of 2919 data count and out of which 558 are closed till December 2021. So the closing count of "till dec 2021" is 2361. now for the month of January 2361 (the closing count of "till dec 2021") becomes the open count and we take the count of January approved count to be 32. so we again run the same process.

I need to show the "closing " column in a line chart could you please help me figure out how to do it in qlik. I already have approved data with me but unable to make the values dynamic to subtract and make the closing value my next months opening value.

Could you provide a sample dataset and explain the question on it?

So this is what the sample data looks like. we take the count of application Id in reference to DL approved date.

below you can see how the calculation is taking place.
