How to make nulls as selectable..?

There are many threads on this, I have tried all of them

like if(len(trim) = , isnull(column) , But unfortunately none of them are working for me.

I have a column called subscription_Type values are Fixed, Mobile Prepaid, Mobile Postpaid, -

I want to convert this - into a selectable string or 'Other' category..

it would be really great if some one provide some other way to achieve this..

@dhasharadh the approach that you have used should work. Since you are still facing issue, please share some sample data and I will try to resolve it for you.
