Add comment to each field value which appears on Hover

Hi All,

we have a requirement where we need to show comments for a particular field values on hover.

We have a straight table with a status field. the hover text is requested for the same.

I added the dimension as " Status & chr(10) & 'Comments' ".

this shows the comments as well on hover but shows up when the table is exported too which is not expected.

could you let me know if there is any option to add comment to a particular field values

Within the export you couldn't influence it. This means you need an appropriate adjustment before - maybe just using a second table for the export or using a dimension-group in the table - one with the comment and one without and before exporting you choose the wanted dimension.

Thanks for suggesting Marcus. the dashboard is already full with visuals and its really heavy considering the no of customer data it has. Is there a way to achieve this requirement in same visual

The above mentioned dimension-group or any conditional switch - per selection or variable controlled and changed before the export - are the only possibilities to keep it within the same visuals but it requires an additionally step to switch the visual-content for the wanted purpose.

Beside this your response sounds as if the dashboards are already overloaded with information - so a re-design maybe with dividing the information to more applications and/or sheets might be improving the usability.
