hI,

I want to sum the quantity and multiply by partpieceweight.

Does the below expression makes sense?

vCoveredQty1 =sum({<[Production Status]={1}>} Quantity*partPieceWeight) Is not providing the expected value.

for example , quantity = 7371 and partPieceweight = 0.12.

The expected value is 884.52.

But the actual output is 1769.

Hi there!

Your problem is not related to Set Analysis. It looks like you are getting a duplicated value, which could be caused by issues in your data model. The table that stores the Quantity and the table that stores the Weight, are linked in such a way that the data gets duplicated. Or, one of the tables contains duplicate entries that you may not be noticing.

If you'd like to learn more about Set Analysis and why these two fields should be stored in the same table, check out the agenda of our Masters Summit for Qlik - the most advanced Qlik developers training in the world! We will be in Madrid in September, and in New Orleans, LA in November:

https://masterssummit.com/

Cheers,
