&lt;LI&gt;link table must be used when possible, as it keeps your data model more understandable and creates less 'hassle' on the front-end&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;With the use of link tables, it’s possible to keep the fact tables&amp;nbsp;separated from each other. The advantage of this solution&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; for choosing this method is to keep the data model a logical one.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;To remove synthetic&amp;nbsp;keys and circular reference as well&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
