It seems like this tool is more for creating a data connection to be used in Sense directly. Is there another tool we can use?

The web connectors are tools for ingesting data into Qlik Sense rather than for moving them from one source to another.

The data integration side of Qlik does have tools for that, like Qlik Replicate for example

Yeah, looks like we'll just have to setup scripts using an FTP client.
