Your screenshot indicates that the server and client release aren't the same which should in general be avoided. Further I remember that there was a hint within the release notes that there is a change on the qvp-protocol which may prevent the communication between QlikView and NPrinting.

Hi All,

We have upgraded QlikView April 2019 to May 2022 today.

have done some sanity check and found an issue with NPrinting.

Some of our QlikView applications are using N Printing to generate Excel reports.

When I try to trigger the job in N Printing got the below error.

WARN: error during report generation: NPrinting Engine failed to open document: navigator=qlikview;documentpath="qvp://reportpath/abc.qvw". Check connection page for connection status.

When I check the connection status by run the verification, got below error:

attached the error snap.

please do the needful ASAP. Tq!

Ricky

Hi Marcus,

Thanks for your reply.

Issue got resolved after installing the same version of the QlikView desktop in N Printing server.
