topic Automatically documenting apps and visualizations in App Development

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have any suggestions for automatically generating end-user documentation for an app and all of its visualizations? Of course, there will be some business-specific contextual information that cannot be automatically generated, but it seems to me that the metadata contained within the app itself could be leveraged to generate the vast majority, e.g.

App: ID, name, last refresh date, list of tables, number of rows per table, relationship between the tables in the data model, fields

Visualization: ID, title, subtitle, footnote, sheet ID, sheet name, position on sheet, dimensions and measures, expressions, earliest and latest values for date fields.

I'm aware that this could be done in a bespoke way by using the Qlik APIs, but I'm wondering whether anyone out there has already done this or has a simpler solution or an approach that could be implemented within a Qlik Sense app.

Thanks in advance,

Richard
