topic Date range and memory usage in App Development

Hi,

Since I added two calendars so that users can specify a range of data, QlikView document runs very slow and I sometimes receive a warning message - "Warning WorkingSet: Virtual Memory is growing beyond parameters"

Is there any way to optimize the performance so that it runs within the given memory?

Thanks.

the solution really would depend on how you are using those two calendars. however, i would suggest that you should still just use 1 calendar and add a bridge table connected to our caledar that allows the user to select from and to date fields. the combination of the two values should be associated to the appropriate dates in the calendar. sharing your DM would help better visualize a solution.

for example, the from and to dates 1/1/2023 to 1/5/2023 shoudl be linked to 1/1/2023,1/2/2023,..1/5/2023

another way is create an island table with all possible from and to dates and then use those in your set analysis
