Hi,

I'm wondering if anybody has managed to retrieve a custom dimensions from Google Analytics 4 (GA4) using the new Qlik Sense connector.

I'm trying to pull a custom dimension called customUser:user_properties that is in GA4 but cannot work out how to do it?

If I pull the meta data from GA using the new connector I get the following information which tells me the API name is customUser:user_properties

However, when I try to retrieve this field using the connector I get an error telling me Realtime dimensions (comma separated) is invalid

Any help would be greatly received

Hi,

This was a known limitation in the initial release of the new Google Analytics 4 connector. It was fixed in Qlik Sense SaaS a few weeks ago, and the fix is included in Patch 1 on May 2023 Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows. This patch was released yesterday.

I am using Qlik sense SaaS and the problem persists, is there a work around or something to retrieve these custom dimmensions in GA4??
