I know these are ancient questions but you need to set the Name and Decription fields when you save something to KML. Under the export options in QGIUS for example

Hi,

When I load KML data into Sense to build map objects, sometimes the area names are automatically shown, sometimes it shows p1, p2, p3, etc.

For attached the sample file as an example, the names are clearly in the kml file:

however when I load it into sense, it shows p1, p2.

Sometimes I can manage to load the names using the xml format instead of kml but more often I cannot do it through xml.

So how can I load the names for the areas in the KML files?

Thank you very much!

Cheers

Fei

No, sorry. If I can't load the name from XML type, then I can't load the names.

If Qlik support provides any solution, please share with the community so that other people know how to handle this.

Thank you very much!

Fei
