Need a field filter where you can take an action based on selection (cannot be Vizlib filter)

I have an app designed to use the vizlib filter such that when the user makes a selection, it automatically goes to the designated sheet. I need to replace the vizlib filter with something that has no cost. Qlik filter out of the box doesn't have that option to take an action - I wish it did.

Is there a way to hide a whole sheet and then display it for interaction once the user has made a selection?
