User based access rules of fields and rows on QVD

Hi,

Is it possible to implement field or row level access on a QVD for specific users.

For e.g.

I have confidential data stored in QVD with 10 fields, let say field_1 ,field_2, ...... field_10.

I want to assign access to user such that user will have access of only first 4 fields of QVD and rest columns should not be visible to user when he selects fields from QVD.

Is it possible on Qlik Sense?

Any suggestions will be helpful.

A QVD is just a data file, so no - it does not have any "rules" within it that can do what you are looking for.

What you may want to do is to have an alternate folder where you have your QVD generator output the more restricted version. You then limit that user to the "restricted" folder instead of the one with the full QVD.
