Reverse Accumulation

Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to create linechart with the remaining of Total Budget as per following, Total Budget - Total Actuals to see Budget Remaining month by month, I try to use RangeSum and above combination but results are not as expected. Check details below:

Remaining from January is: Total Budget (25,855) - Total Actuals (3,334) = 22521

Remaining from February : 22521 - 2182 = 20339

Rest of the months should be 20339 as there are not total actuals

Is it possible to create a combo chart or line chart to show the remaining per Month ?

my current formula:

Rangesum(sum(total{<Budget_Month_Name-=>}[Total Budget]) - RangeSum([Total Actuals USD]),0)

Hi,

try this out, and the most important part here is the accumulation. Qlik automatically calculates this for you. You can then copy the formula out.

I'm also attaching the images and QVF file for your review.
