How Can I Monitor Qlik Sense App Preloader

I've built and scheduled the Qlik Sense App Preloader but don't think it is making a difference as sheets are still taking 3+ minutes to load after it completest (Takes 30 min). I've built and am running the App Preloader on the April 2018 Qlik Sense server version.

Is there another way to preload sheets?
Is there a way to view that the cache is in fact getting loaded by the App Preloader?
Is the cache getting dumped after the preloader? Is there a setting that may be set too low for cache expiration?
