How to disable or remove 'Edit' button in Qlik QMC?

Hello,

Our Qlik user roles are configured in HANA tables and the details (i.e. roles and group) are extracted to Qlik Sense. For instance, Admin role can be given to a user and we have configured security rules for such users to have access to certain tabs in Qlik QMC.

We would like to confirm if user has access to 'Users' tab in QMC, will they automatically have the privilege to 'Edit' any users in Qlik? Are there any other option to allow user to access 'Users' tab in QMC but without allowing to edit any users?

Hi,

You can create a custom role by creating a Security Rule.
The resource will be QmcSection_User, and privilege will be read, for QMC only.
