how to use multi colored text as measures in multi kpi

hi,
i need to create a multi KPI with a numeric KPI (big font) and a second measure (smaller font). the second measure says something about the KPI - for exampe that the KPI is above average, below or same as average. however, the second KPI needs to be colored (green, red, black).

so my second KPI is an expression that returns a text. my problem is that if i want it colored, i need to use a master measure with segments - however segments can only apply to numeric measures.
