How to apply section access by two fields ?

Hi all ,

I have an qliksense application in which users are given section access by category field .

these users are from to sectors AD and FD

Now they want section access by Category and Sector also , but sector is not in the data model .

Even if is bring sector in the data model ,how will i link the section access file ?

Can anyone help me in this .

Good Day,

Should you bring sector into the datamodel, the section access table will link using that field.

Just use the insert section access functionality to create the table.

Yes, If i bring sector in data model but it will be in different table ,not where the category field is there .

Have a look at the link to implement Section access : Introduction to Section Access

The section access table cannot be seen, thus it will not create any synthetic keys or issues in your data model. All fields that are the same, for example your Category and Sector fields will both be used to determine who sees what data. Just keep in mind, Section access fields (Category and Sector) will be case sensitive.
