answering my own question...QlikSense v November 2023

when editing the KPI object, under Presentation, Styling, Chart

set the Layout Behavior to Fixed

toggled advanced styling on in the Styling Mode setting

Then, you have total control:

how to force KPI fonts to match

Dashboard has a series of kpi objects across the top of the screen. The values are different lengths, e.g. "7.5%" vs "$5,100,200.00" Due to the responsive sizing, this causes the reporting to look amateurish with giant bold "7.5%" and a tiny long number. Is there a way to force all kpis on the page to have the same font size for the values being displayed?

An alternative plan here is stuff the values into a table so that can be displayed, but easier would be to just enforce consistency on the kpi object formatting. A hiddin multi-kpi object with css is one option I can think of, but wondering if/how others have solved this problem?
