Performance issue on Data Application with 720+ Clients Across 110+ Countries

Hi,

Hope you are doing well!

I have a requirement to show data for over 720 clients residing in 110+ countries. However, I encountered issues with refreshing data and opening the final application with all clients’ data together.

To address this, I split the large application into 15 smaller apps. For example, clients whose names start with “A” are in one app, clients whose names start with “B & C” are in another, and so on( somehow, I tried to manage size of each app is almost same as splitted the clients accordingly) . I then created a selection app that calls these 15 apps using button action through URL’s. This selection app includes filters for Client and Country and a button to access each of the 15 apps, making it appear as a single app to the user.

Attached are the screenshots of the selection apps for your reference.

But still, I could see there was a performance issue. The application is taking 4-5 minutes to open with one client and one country data(Selections made in Selection App). In the final application, we are working with only optimized QVDs (no transformations and no where conditions in the script). We are simply calling all QVDs together.

Attached are the screenshots of data model, and app sizes for your reference.

Could you please help me on how to resolve the above issue to provide a good experience to users with this product?

Thanks in advance

Thanks,

SP
