Web file Dataconnection Password and user

Good morning,

would like to pull xls date via the standard web file connector in qlik.
Sadly the possibility to pass user and password along is not possible in the standard.

In the Qmc user and password an be entered but it seems to be a dummy entry possibility.
Proxy settings are not needed.

Is it possible to use this connector with a user and password for a page or what would be an alternative.
