I am trying to access a file from Office 365 sharepoint, when the folder do not have a dot the file can be previewed.

However, if the folder have a dot, for e.g., 1.test, the same file cannot be previewed

And when I do a load, I am able to load from the path which contains 1.test

I have encountered the same behaviour in customer environment.

Any help is appreciated.

Have you tried using a variable string for the lib connection and replacing the dot with Chr(34) it may just do the same but worth a try. Or maybe try to use a wild card on the sub folder if that's possible E.G. /1*/

The issue occur when we use the UI to find a file and previewing it, for e.g.,

I have navigated to the sub sub folder and found the file that I want

click on the select button will normally show the preview of the data, but in this case its showing blank

How do variable string, replacing the dot, use wild card works in this situation?

If the load worked but not the preview it hints for an incomplete configuration or a bug within the parser for the preview. I could imagine that's a rather small issue within the processing. I think you should forward it to the R&D team.
