QlikSense SaaS to on prem SQL server connection issue

Hello,

Recently we setup Qlik Sense SaaS model for my company. On our side we worked on firewall config settion so we could make connection between Qlik Sense and on prem SQL servers. When tried I am getting below error message,

Error message:Please check the values for Username‚ Password‚ Host and other properties. Description: Client unable to establish connection

ERROR [08001] [unixODBC][Qlik][SqlServer] Failed to locate Server/Instance Specified.

Qlik sense is hosted on Qlik cloud and NOT on my company side.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello @Ankitpurohit,

In order to be able to use SQL connector from your servers, you could try to use Qlik Data Gateway.

Data gateways provide a secure means of accessing or moving firewalled data for use in Qlik Cloud. The gateway is installed behind your organization's firewall, and then registered with Qlik Management Console:
