topic Databricks Unity Catalog Support in Connectivity & Data Prep

Running Qlik Sense May 2023 Patch 6

We are aiming to create a connection to DataBricks to read some Unity Catalog tables...

We are able to successfully authenticate, but Qlik fails to load the database and tables. It seems to validate the catalog name and database (inputting invalid details throws an error), but the screen then fails to load the database, the catalog dropdown contains the expected catalog name, but the database is shown as blank, and no tables load.

The docs seem to indicate that Unity catalog _is_ supported...anyone know how to work around the issue? We have ruled out anything relating to permissions against the catalog/db/tables - using the exact same credentials in DBeaver and DataGrip allow us to access/query the tables as expected.

Hello,

The only way I found to solve this problem was to update Qlik to August 2023 IR.
