Hi a potential workaround you can try while you plan for the upgrade is to use an external ETL tool:
Use an external ETL tool (e.g., Talend, Informatica, Alteryx) to handle the data extraction using SCRAM-SHA-256 and then load the data into Qlik Sense. These tools might offer more flexibility in setting up secure connections with the required authentication mechanisms.
You can automate the data flow using these ETL tools and schedule imports into Qlik Sense via Qlik's REST API or a direct file-based approach.

Hi to all,

We would like to add scram-sha-256 data connection on our Qlik May 2022 version, but we found out, this data connection is available on Feb 2023. Are there any options to enable it in May 2022? To clarify, we are planning to upgrade to FEB 2023, but some issues were raised and we are seeking for alternative workarounds.

Thank you
