Connection to Microsoft SQL Server randomly slows down

Dear Experts,

Once/twice a year we experience a radical decrease in the speed of data loading in the connection to our database. Every time that happens, we check communications, network, performance of database and everything seems fine as usual. Since last night, it changed from loading millions of registers in few minutes to spend hours to get same result.
I think we are using a really old version of Qlik sense, 2018 probably.
Does any body have experienced something similar? Every time this happens, we can't find the cause of the problem. The problem appears suddenly (not after a deploy) and it disappears the same way
Sorry i Can't provide much information cause I don't have much knowledge about infrastructure.

@ruben_moya sounds like an upgrade is in order! (Especially if you ask for help from Qlik Technical Support and/or Qlik Professional Services)

Also want to look at your version of SQL Server and make sure it is compatible, see:

Hi @David_Friend , thanks a lot for your quick reply. I understand that we should upgrade our qlik version but it is gonna take us some time and we can't afford to leave our users without data. Also, although we are using an old version, it's not normal that suddenly it starts behaving this way.
While testing the connection with a certain query, I've noticed every3-5 secons it loads the data in groups of 3018 registers. It feels that, somehow, there is a limitation in the connector. Do you have any idea of what might be the cause so we can fin a quick fix or a workaround? thanks again for your time
