Hello, Lloyd!

In my experience, the Google Drive connector can see "My Drive" and "Shared Drives", but not "Shared with me", which is where any file shared with you would appear.

This is a big flaw of the connector, and I suspect is due to the enpoints available on the Google Drive API.

My workaround, copy the file into "My Drive", and share it with whover you expect to edit it in the future, and read that into Qlik.

Hope this helps!

Hi,

I have an excel file which was shared with me via google drive. At first the owner of the file gave me Viewer access to the file but I can't seem to find the shared file using the Google Drive & Spreadsheets or the Google Drive connector.

When I use the Google Drive & Spreadsheet connector, I am able to see the file id in the ListFiles table but the driveId column for the file is empty. When I paste the file id into the Spreadsheet Key and manually populate the Range, set the Velue Render Option to FORMATTED_VALUE and Date Time Render Option to FORMATTED_STRING, I get an error saying "Failed on attempt 1 to GET.(400 This operation is not supported for this document).

When I use the Google Drive connector, I could not see the file in the My Drive or Shared Drive folders.

I am using Qlik Sense Enterprise for Windows

Thanks in advance!!

Lloyd
