Hi,

I'm using Qlik Sense May 2024 version. I'm using an ODBC connection pull data from SQL Server into Qlik. Recently all of the Qlik App reloads in my environment started taking much longer to reload and any somewhat complex Apps fail with the error message: Error: QVX_UNEXPECTED_END_OF_DATA: SQL##f - SqlState: 01000, ErrorCode: 10054, ErrorMsg: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]ConnectionRead (recv()).

Any idea what's going on here and how to resolve? I'm not seeing any logs in SQL Server and the logs in Qlik are limited.

It may be due to a bad SChannel configuration of the Qlik Sense server or SQL Sever. SQL Sever needs to support TLS 1.2.

You can use on the Qlik Sense server Nartac Software - IIS Crypto to align ciphers suits and TLS protocol to industry best practices too.

Just to give an update. The errors seen in Qlik were caused by issues with the NIC card on the server that hosts my Qlik VM. Fixing the NIC card has fixed the Qlik issues.
