      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Currently using Qlik Sense 2.2.&amp;nbsp; Loading a simple excel spreadsheet.&amp;nbsp; Currency field is incorrectly identified as a date field.&amp;nbsp; When data is loaded the field contains dates but in Excel the field is actually a dollar amount.&amp;nbsp; Does anyone know why this ""&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Most likely a data issue. Which currency/locale you are using? Is your script settings (first page header with date/money formats) matching your Excel file?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And you can always force conversion to numeric (num(field_name) as money_value) in your script.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Vladimir &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
