qlik web connector Unlicensed as server

Hi All,

I have a licensed QlikSense Server running fine. I have now installed the QlikWebConnector and have configured the connector as per the help instructions and it is running just fine when using the URL http://localhost:5555. I have also made the changes to run webconnector as a service and its running fine.

However, later i went and have changed the below settings in the deploy.config file and have restarted the service.

<HostnameOverride>{systemip}</HostnameOverride>

Now when i try to access the same with a ip (http://{systemip}:5555/) its throwing the below error message.

Error Code ERROR_NOT_LICENCED. Unlicensed as server.

Do i need a license to use the standard connectors also from a server.

I had raised this with Qlik Support and below is the response i received.

" I have been given confirmation that the fix for this bug will be included in version 2.0.2 of the Qlik Web Connector, however there is currently no definite or projected release date." - Response date: August 12, 2016
