I created a row-based qvd with Qlik Sense - is this even possible?

I generated a QVD with Qlik Sense, when I load it I get the message that it is (QVD (row-based) optimized), I thought Qlik Sense always generates column based QVD's. What's going on?

Is the QVD generating app maybe operating in legacy mode (not 100% sure if this makes a difference, though)?

That was an awkward response . I guess I was just trying to show what the experts have to say about row-based optimized qvd vs the optimized qvd. But if it is not what you were looking for, I apologize for wasting your and my time.
