topic Qlik loading the fields as text instead of dual when loading from presto connection in Connectivity & Data Prep

Need help urgent!!!

I have observed the following issues while shifting the connection to Presto from Drill.

When loaded from Drill,

1. While loading from Drill,Even if a field datatype is varchar in database, i can use the field as if numeric (might be treating as dual), whereas with presto varchar fields are being treated as text fields default and thereby when I want to use Exists, the function is retrieving zero records.

2. Does Exists is datatype sensitive? like it compares the value or by its nature i.e text or numeric?

3. Even if the SQL load command has lower case fields, if i use uppercase fields in Qlik they worked fine, but in Presto i need use only the lowercase fields or else giving me the field not found error
