Microsoft OLE Provider for ODBC Drivers not working in Qliksense Server.

Hi All ,

I am getting error message when trying to load a qliksense app fetching data from Microsoft SQL Server in QMC Tasks.

The data connection is working fine in Qliksense Desktop . The OLEDB Connection is set up using Microsoft OLEDB Provider for ODBC Drivers. Please see images attached.

getting error log -

2019-04-17 05:29:49 0023 LIB CONNECT TO 'CDW_ODBC_PROD'
2019-04-17 05:29:49 Error: Connector connect error: ErrorSource: Unknown source, ErrorMsg: Unknown description
2019-04-17 05:29:49 Execution Failed

Please kindly assist. How to set up the data connection properly. My Database is Microsoft SQL server.

If you are connecting using a DSN, use the straight ODBC driver and not the driver you selected.

Hi ,

The solution I found was I had to install the ODBC Driver for MS SQL Server in the Qliksense Server.

Config the System DSN correctly like below.

Then , I used the Microsoft OLEDB Connection for ODBC Driver (32 bit).
