Qlik Sense data load of protected excel documents

Hi,

I believe I am experiencing a problem whereby Qlik Sense has difficulties opening excel files that are considered MS "protected view" i.e. originate from the internet.

We create an excel report from our CRM system and want to load this automatically into Qlik Sense. To do this manually I have to download and then open the excel file, "unprotect it" and save it. Then it will load into Qlik Sense.

If I try to load without having done this the Data Load reports that it is unable to find the column names.

The following error occurred:

Field 'Organisation No.' not found

The error occurred here:

Data has not been loaded. Please correct the error and try loading again.

Does anyone know if there is a way around this?
