Setting Nulls Card

Wondering if anyone has had any experience with difficulties in setting nulls within the Data Manager. I have imported some data and in one specific column I have a bunch of "NULL" values. They are not true nulls because they are just a string that says "NULL" currently. For every other column in my tables I was able to use the set nulls card to set all of these as true null values.

But with this specific column I am having a hard time because when I select the column the set nulls card within the data profiling card disappears. The only option I am left with on this particular column is the split function. I do not want to split the value because it is a string value that is my serial numbers that I will need/want as a whole.

Anyone have any idea why I lose the set nulls card and if there is any way to get it back for this specific column?
