Hi Team,

I've been receiving a couple of errors while trying to connect to the Oracle database using QlikSense. I've been receiving 'error hy000 ora-12154: TNS: Listener does not currently know of service requested in connect descriptor' and 'error hy000 ora-12170: TNS Connect timeout occured' frequently.

I have attached the screen shots for your reference as well.

Please help me resolve this.

Hi,

we are also facing the same TNS issues connecting to oracle using odbc connection as well Qlik oracle connection. Can you please let us know who did you manage to solve this issue.

Error1 --- oracle 12170 TNS: connect timeout error occurred.

Error2---oracle 12514 TNS: listener does not currently know of service requested in connect descriptor.

We have already approached our DBA team and there were any issues at DB side. They asked us to check if similar issues were faced with other Qlik users and solution. Please help.
