Qlik Sense Desktop Crashes on uploading Excel Spreadsheet

Hi all.

Very new to Qlik. I had two excel worksheets that I need to load into Datafiles.

I go Data Manager > Add Data to [App], and drop my file in.

The first one went in just fine, and I can use it's data in the app.

Trying to add the other however, Qlik Sense shows the circle with the file size, then hitches for a second, then the entire app closes. No error message in sight.

Would appreciate either suggestions on how to fix this or alternative methods to add the data in.

My version of Qlik Sense Desktop is February 2019.

What I've tried:

Uploading a different excel file: Also failed, so it isn't a problem with the file.

Re-installing Qliksense desktop: Issue persists.

Connecting to a different network: Issue persists.

Trying it on a different PC: Issue persists.

is issue with excels? did you tried to load any other qvd? did you test that?

try to load one sample qvd into that qliskense and see.
