How do I connect Qlikview with Beatroute via api?

Beatroute is an application used in sales and has a cloud database. I need to connect qlikview to it and need info on what api connectors do I need?

Hi,

As there is no dedicated connector for this platform, then you'll need to hand-craft it yourself.

Depending on the API available from Beatroute, you may be able to use either the Qlik Web Connector's General Web Connector, or the Qlik REST Connector.

I am using Qlik REST Connector for extraction from Beatroute via api. How can automate the extraction from the connector so that I don't need to put the api , extract the data and load into qlikview. everytime.

Or is it even possible to automate?

On using the REST connector you should get some load script, which if saved with the application will run each time you reload it.

As such, I don't see the need to do anything other than reload.

If you have have QlikView desktop then you'll need to manually reload.

If you have a QlikView Server/Publisher set up then you should be able to set up scheduled reloads so that the reloads happens at the date/time that you specify.
